About Me

I’ve been sewing since I was 12 years old, when my Mom taught me everything that my grandmother taught her. After dragging her through the mall for a skirt that only existed in my mind’s eye, she then dragged me to Joann Fabrics and introduced me to the world of sewing. I immediately fell in love with garment construction and continued to make clothes for my friends and family.  Within a few years, I was making homecoming and prom dresses for myself and friends. Over the years, as new dresses brought new challenges, I’ve been able to fine tune my skills and construction. Sewing dresses and formal wear continues to be my utmost passion, but any time that I can create something that brings another person joy, it brings me joy as well.
